True Roots is an arborist-led company: every job on this page is done by our own AQF Level 5 arborists and licensed landscape contractors, with our own crane, chipper, loader and tip trucks, from the depot in Mortdale. That is why a removal, a stump grind, a retaining wall and new turf can be one quote, one crew and one clean site instead of four contractors. Homeowners, builders, strata managers and councils from the St George area and the Shire to the North Shore get the same standard: fixed price in writing, council paperwork handled, the job photographed on completion.
Not sure which service you need? Send a photo of the tree, the hedge or the block with your suburb. An arborist tells you what it needs, whether council rules apply, and gives you a fixed price, usually the same day. Emergency and storm work runs 24/7.

Most properties need two or three things in the right order: a removal and a stump grind before new turf, a reduction on the hedge while the crew is already there, or an arborist report followed by the approved work. Done by one crew with its own machinery, that is one quote, one visit and a lower total than three separate contractors. It also means one person is accountable for the whole site, from the permit to the last barrow of mulch.
Every job, whatever the size, gets the same basics: AQF Level 5 arborists on site, pruning to AS 4373, $20M public liability, council paperwork handled, a fixed price in writing and photos on completion. Pricing is explained on our tree removal cost guide, and permit rules for each council are in the council guides.
